Head Housekeeper

About the Role
We are currently looking for a Head Housekeeper to lead our busy Housekeeping team. You will be responsible for ensuring that our rooms are presented to exceptional standards, reviewing and developing operating procedures to drive standards. The successful candidate will join the hotel management team and as such, will be placed on the duty manager rota, ensuring operational issues are dealt with effectively. You will have line management responsibility for your team, carrying out performance reviews, and all managing all employee relations matters.

Reception Supervisor

We are currently looking for a Reception Supervisor with great customer service skills to join a highly successful team.

 

About the Role
You will support the smooth daily operation of the hotel reception, forming strong working relationships with department managers to provide excellent service. Key duties include ensuring a warm, professional welcome is given to each and every guest, facilitating smooth check-in and check-out processes, processing guest bills efficiently and accurately, dealing with all enquiries, and undertaking any administration required by the Head Receptionist, whom you will report to. You will monitor the hotel switchboard, ensuring calls are answered and relayed in a helpful and professional manner.

You will be confident and professional, engaging with our guests, and have a willingness to go the extra mile. You will have strong organisational skills, and be able to prioritise effectively. You will also be an exceptional team player with excellent communication skills, with good attention to detail to deliver outstanding customer service.
Hours of Work and Pay
This is a full time permanent position working a minimum of 40 hours a week on a 5 days out of 7 day rota basis, including evenings and weekends.

Restaurant and Bars Manager

Reporting directly to the General Manager you will be responsible for the efficient running of the Restaurant, Lounge and Bar. You will be required to recruit, train and manage all department staff, work to budgets and targets, and plan and forecast future sales and revenue opportunities.

Previous management experience in an Food & Beverage role, with stock control experience.

We are seeking a receptionist to join our already established team. This position involves delivering exceptional service to our guests.  As part of the reception team you will be responsible for welcoming resident and non-resident guests to the hotel. You will carry out check ins and check outs, maintain the switchboard, handle accommodation, restaurant bookings and payments, and will be advising guests of hotel and local facilities and services. You will also assist with the daily running of the Spa Reception, including handling bookings, welcoming guests and carrying out checkouts following their time with us.

 

You will ensure the guests’ requirements are always met and naturally seek out opportunities to exceed their expectations, ensuring prompt and professional attention.

 

About You
Our ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, with a passion for providing excellent guest service and maintaining the highest standards. This individual will be a motivated and enthusiastic person with high levels of customer service and good communication skills. Experience in a similar environment preferable although full training will be given to the right candidate.

This is a permanent full time role, working 40 hours 5 days out of 7 with bank holidays and weekend working on a shift basis due to the nature of our business. We are offering a competitive rate of pay.

We have an excellent opportunity to welcome an Apprentice Chef to our busy brigade, which would suit someone who is keen to learn and progress in the industry. This role will involve working across all areas of the kitchen, assisting senior chefs in the production and service of quality food for the restaurant and functions. You will maintain high standards of hygiene, assist with stock control and generally contributing to the efficient working of the busy kitchen.

The Intermediate apprenticeship provides an NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery.

Previous experience in a kitchen/catering environment is desirable
