Hotel Group - Sales Manager

Longleat Group Hotels consist of The Bishopstrow Hotel and Spa located in Warminster, Homewood Park Hotel and Spa located in Bath and the Bath Arms Country Pub situated on the outskirts of the Longleat Estate.
ABOUT THE ROLE
An exciting new opportunity has opened up working for Longleat Group Hotels. The ideal candidate will assist the Hotel General Managers in achieving their hotel top line revenues in line with current budgets by identifying new sales leads through Leisure agencies, direct corporate, MICE & celebration markets and to develop and convert these leads into revenue. Additionally, all current accounts to be maintained with our existing clients through regular contact and communication. Reporting to the Hotels General Manager this is a new key position for us at a time when sales and demand are increasing and our product is evolving rapidly.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a strategic thinker with excellent sales and presentation skills. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in business development/sales in a similar environment. You must possess fantastic interpersonal skills, with a pragmatic and flexible approach.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience in a similar role preferred having worked in the hospitality industry with relevant sales qualifications essential.
HOURS OF WORK
This is a permanent full time contract working 40 hours minimum a week Monday to Friday with the flexibility to work some weekends and bank holidays. You would spend your time equally between the three hotels. A competitive salary package is offered, plus company bonus. A full job description can be given on request.

Receptionist

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a receptionist to join our already established team. This position involves delivering exceptional service to our guests. As part of the reception team you will be responsible for welcoming resident and non-resident guests to the hotel. You will carry out check ins and check outs, maintain the switchboard, handle accommodation, restaurant bookings and payments, and will be advising guests of hotel and local facilities and services. You will also assist with the daily running of the Spa Reception, including handling bookings, welcoming guests and carrying out checkouts following their time with us.
You will ensure the guests’ requirements are always met and naturally seek out opportunities to exceed their expectations, ensuring prompt and professional attention.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, with a passion for providing excellent guest service and maintaining the highest standards. This individual will be a motivated and enthusiastic person with high levels of customer service and good communication skills. Experience in a similar environment preferable although full training will be given to the right candidate.

This is a permanent full time role, working 40 hours 5 days out of 7 with bank holidays and weekend working on a shift basis due to the nature of our business. We are offering a competitive rate of pay.
