This Easter, bring your family along to Homewood Park, one of the finest luxury family hotels in Bath and part of the Longleat group, to enjoy the magic of the safari for yourself. Here’s what you do not want miss…
Something creepy is happening at Longleat… creepy crawly, that is. From 8th April, the park will be home to 20 enormous animatronic bugs as part of their Marvellous Monsters exhibition. The instalment comes as part of Longleat’s efforts to educate children on the importance of conservation, and provides a truly fascinating opportunity for your tiny entomologists to get up close and personal with a selection of (not so) mini beasts from all over the world. Not only can you ogle at the animatronic beasties, you can also meet their living counterparts in The Longhouse.
Also launching on 8th April; The Longhouse will be featuring a captivating exhibition on mantises. As well as some intriguing live specimens, there will be plenty of other bits and pieces to get your fangs stuck into.
Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity, it is sure to amaze both big and small!
Longleat Easter Eggspress
Climb aboard the Longleat Eggpress this Easter and keep your eyes peeled for a whole host of eggcellent characters. The little eggs are trying to get a message back to Humpty Dumpty, and they need a little help from your tiny explorers. There’s a tasty treat in it for you if you unscramble the eggs’ message! Not only will the Eggspress take you past plenty of ovoid friends, you’ll also see plenty of Longleat’s residents too!
If you’re looking to wear out your kids this Easter, the Adventure Castle is the place to do it! This enchanting medieval fortress and adventure playground has something for all ages, from tiny tots right through to early teens. If the weather is warm enough, the splash pad might even be in action.
Perfect for a sunny April day, the Jungle Cruise will take you on a spin around Longleat’s beautiful lake. With bouncing sealions to escort you, you will float across the lake to visit the gorilla colony on their private island. With the help of the keepers’ expert eyes, you will also have the chance to spot Longleat’s resident hippopotami, Spot and Sonia.
