Easter Activities in Bath

Our Bath hotel offers luxury throughout the seasons. With Spring upon us and Easter fast approaching, we’ve compiled a list of activities for you to enjoy when you’re not relaxing at the hotel.

Chocolate Shopping

Charlotte Brunswick and Maison Georges Larnicol are ideal destinations to satisfy your sweet tooth this Easter. Chocolatier masters, you can treat yourself or your loved ones to decadent eggs, boxes and other impressive cocoa delicacies. If you want to try even more, then explore! With its winding streets and secret shop fronts, Bath is the perfect city to do some shopping – be it for chocolate or otherwise.

Avon Valley Adventure and Wildlife Park

Head to the wildlife park and you can take in a mile of beautiful countryside along the River Avon. With falconry, an obstacle course, boating lake and the Egg Drop Challenge there is plenty to do this Easter. You can see rare breed sheep, goats, cattle, wallabies and more – and because its spring, there will be baby animals and lamb feeding in the animal handling barn.

Easter Trail at The American Museum

On Thursday 5th April, get ready to discover the World War One Easter Trail at The American Museum. Explore the grounds and see what you can find together… it’s all about teamwork as you have some fun this Easter and learn more about World War One. Everyone gets a prize! Entry is £2.50 per trail in addition to the normal entry fee.

Feel Good Friday at Bath Racecourse

The racing season starts on Friday 30th March and Bath Racecourse are celebrating in style. Expect family-friendly entertainment in the designated picnic enclosure, fair rides, face painting, live music and seven races with a total prize fund of £175,000. Under 18’s entry is free.

The Roman Baths

On Monday 26 March head to The Roman Baths with your little ones and they can celebrate spring by creating a mini Roman garden. Not only will they get to learn all about the ancient history of the Baths, they can get creative in a way that is alternative to crafting an Easter egg! This activity is included in the entry price to The Roman Baths.

Boating

Re-opening on the 30th March, the Bath Boating Station will allow you to take in the picturesque sights of Bath and the river in either a Skiff, Punt or a Canoe. Prices start at £18 per person for all day usage and would make a wonderful romantic treat this Easter.

A Fantastic Easter Sunday Lunch

If you want to enjoy Easter in a less strenuous way, then why not enjoy our Easter Sunday Lunch with loved ones? You can partake in a decadent three-course menu – we’ll even provide a chocolate egg for the children! We think it’s the best lunch in Bath and the perfect way to spend Easter.
