Homewood Park completes its £1Million Refurbishment Posted on 05/03/2009
Over £1 million has been invested in the refurbishment of Homewood Park, due to be fully completed by March 6th 2009. A further £1 million will then be invested in the construction of a new spa, to launch at the end of 2009.
All 19 luxury double bedrooms have been lovingly restored and beautifully refurbished throughout 2008, each one individually styled by local designer Jane Clayton. Whilst each room has retained its individual character and charm, they all now benefit from modern conveniences such as flat screen televisions, high speed broadband, luxury Vi-spring beds and en-suite bathrooms, many with roll top baths.
Homewood Park's nationally acclaimed restaurant is one of the finest restaurants in the South of England and has been voted Country Restaurant of the Year in the Good Food Guide.
The restaurant also proudly boasts two AA Rosettes, recognition of the technique, flair and imagination of the dishes. Head Chef, Daniel Moon (winner of the von Essen chef of the year 2008), designs the menus and takes great pride in everything he creates and serves for guests.
Guests of Homewood Park can also enjoy a stroll in the 10 acres of beautiful gardens, which under the supervision of Steven Hargreaves, have been awarded 1st prize in the actively contested ‘Bath in Bloom’ competition in 1998, 1999, 2000, 2005, 2006 and 2007 creating a wonderfully attractive and peaceful environment for the hotel and restaurant.
