Aromatherapy is a professional discipline in complimentary medicine which makes use of aromatic plant essences (called essential oils) for therapeutic purposes, to promote healing and well-being of the whole body and the mind.
Aromatherapy does not cure – rather the use of specific essential essences encourages the body to re-align and heal itself. Consequently change is not instant. However, the therapeutic touch of the massage will aid in relaxation and /or vitalisation and will create an immediate sense of well-being.
